The problem is because I have the same problem that SDFlasher.Exe doesn't properly handle the eprom properly! The flasher should also be able to handle MT1939.
The address is different from MT1959!
My LG BH16NS40 NS40 V1.03 happened the same.
It no longer reads mediums.
If the board wasn't so expensive, I'd buy this new.
All flash attempts from MT1959 to MT1939 failed completely.
A new SDFLASHER PROGRAM has to be written where it works without DOSFLASH.EXE.
I threw my drive in the garbage can.
Not worth it!

no
you just need to read warnings before doing stuff
mt1939 will never do UHD so why were you flashing it in the first place these drives are 10+ years old at this point UHD did not exist when they were out.

That's true, but I read it too late.
Ok happened, but this LG BH16NS40 NS40 read but 4K 100GB BD-RE 2x TDK.
But it can read it.
Only the brake annoyed me.
Well, I thought I'd try that WH16NS60 1.02 MKV and it flashed.
Then he didn't read any more mediums.
Now I wanted to flash it back to version 1.03 LG BH16NS40.
It doesn't work, because of the error message.
But if an SD flasher reprograms that keeps calibration data and only removes read protection, then it would be perfect.
But unfortunately it doesn't work, even though I made fuse V1.03 before.
It's a pity, actually.
It was a stupid attempt, ok, I've learned now.

Move on. Get a better drive for UHD. I can make suggestions.

You can recover it but you need dos flash as you know but In big red bold large letters it tells you not to do this in the guide

If he wants to read UHDs he needs to move on. He can only rescue his drive for BDs and that's quite cumbersome when he wants to read UHDs annyway. My 2 cents.

If Dosflash were on 64bit, this would be much easier to execute.
Is it difficult to reprogram this Dosflash into 64Bit?
Many things would be much easier then.

Nope no 64 bit.
You need a 32 bit os and ide mode in the bios
See guide below go to recovery section and follow the video.
