Hello,
I came across this drive while looking for something else (not sure when/where I got it) and wondering what firmware would be best to use for it?
I ripped about a dozen of my 4Ks with it no problem, then it choked on 2 in a row, wouldn't open them.
Here's the drive info...

Pioneer BDR-XS07U FIrmware?
Re: Pioneer BDR-XS07U FIrmware?
Clean UHD discs with liquid soap and warm water. The dry with a paper towel and wipe with a microfiber cloth. Try again.blutuna wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 3:36 pmHello,

Re: Pioneer BDR-XS07U FIrmware?
Hi, thx for the reply!
I've cleaned it several times now (Infinity War), can see nothing on the disc, no foreign matter, smudges etc.
Stops about halfway through.
The second one that it wouldn't read worked in my LG drive.
The LG drive won't read this disc either.

The firmware is not the issue. Don't ever change it!!!blutuna wrote: ↑Sat Oct 05, 2024 3:36 pmHello,

The discs are the problem. Clean them before trying again.
Cheers
