first off can it be flashed it had 2024 on the label i check
replacing an Asus and Pioneer Uhd drive had before worked for a few years when i installed the LG it still picked up the flash firm ware, but wouldn't read uhd disc tried Enders game no logs

the flash I have now is HL-DT-ST BD-RE BP50NB40 and the drive is locked the disc it stuck in, anyway to rollback driver to get disc or do I have to open the drive to get my disc out would love help or do I have to buy another drive

If I understand what you wrote, you have an LG WH14NS40, a desktop drive. And you tried to flash BP50NB40 for mobile drives onto it?

The guide (linked above) says: WH14NS40 on any Firmware directly to > WH16NS60 1.02MK

The guide also says: Don't crossflash desktop drives to slim drives or the other way around
