Re: Possible to flash this drive
Hi
I have also this same drive. SVC is EB52. I tried to look trough the forum to find confirmation for the correct flashing procedure, but didn't find it. I just don't want to brick my drive.
So is the correct prosedure for this drive the same as mentioned in SDFtool flasher's page?

My drive info is as follows:For the moment, to flash the BP50NB40 SVC:NB52, using the latest SDFtool Flasher, follw the steps below:
1. Flash the drive to BP50NB40 (NB50) 1.03-MK.
Now for the crossflash:
2. Select the RECOVERY option and in the pop up, select the BP50NB40 (NB50) 1.03-MK firmware that you just flashed.
3. Select the BP60NB10 1.00-MK or BU40N 1.00 firmware in the normal drop box.
4. Click START

Yep, same process. BU40N 1.00 is recommended.matti46 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 28, 2024 3:29 pmHi

My All you need firmware pack doesn't include a BP55EB40 firmware but you should be able to use the BP50NB40 NB50 1.03-MK firmware for the first step. Otherwise, you could download either Billy's all you need firmware pack or the MK firmware pack from: viewtopic.php?p=74718#p74718 (toward the bottom of first post) if you want to use the BP55EB40 firmware for the first step.
Cheers
