I have been trying to follow the guide and flash my LG drive to enable libredrive, however I have been failing at it. I keep receiving an error code of: 0x82052603
I have read other responses that said to flash it to DE_LG_WH16NS60_1.02_MK.bin first, then use the one above, but nothing works. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to make it work? I have had this drive since 2020 (with what looks like a firmware date of 1/4/2019) and I have a few UHD discs that I want to rip for my Plex server.
Copy & paste the MakeMKV info for your drive.

No disc inserted
do not use enc when flashing and it should work
It doesn't matter if I try it with encryption turned on or off, I keep getting an error of "command produced erro code 0xff05c103". I have tried the firmware "DE_LG_WH16NS40-NS50_1.02" and "DE_LG_WH16NS40_1.01" and nothing works. I have even tried flashing to WH16nS60 as someone else was able to and nothing.

So then what is the right one?
Read the guide or buy an automated flasher from me or Marty
If you look at the Flashing Guide, you'll see a section titled 'Recommended Firmware to flash for MakeMKV:'
In there, you'll see:
'WH16NS40 on any Firmware directly to > WH16NS60 1.02MK'
The open secret of LG desktop drives is they're all the same hardware on the inside, just different firmware enabling or disabling 'features'. Through empirical study over the years, it has been determined that the 16NS60 1.02 firmware is the best of the bunch for LG desktop drives. The MK version is what enables LibreDrive.

Right after I made that post, I came across this site and it had exactly what I needed.
Hi there! I have a Matshita BD-RE UJ260AF Bluray drive (Internal "laptop" drive in Desktop [HP230Z]) and don't know what to flash it to. I dont even know how old it is cause I dont want to pull it out (which would take hours since i have tons of external USB drive connected along with other peripherals. I am running Windows 11 (not sure which build). Thanks...
