I booted with a Windows PE - X86, with sata in IDE mode.

When I open DOSFlash and start the "Read Flash" procedure I get the following message: "No Know flash chip on this port"

Put your drive in port 1 and try again

It's already on the SATA 1 port, but unfortunately the same message... I even switched PCs, but the same model (Lenovo M93p, I'm using desktops from my work, as mine is newer and doesn't have IDE mode).
Before the message I quoted above appears, this one comes: MTK Vendor Intro to Master on Port 0xF0F0 failed. If you should turn the drive off and on after you pressed "Yes". Do you want to resend the command until the drive responds? (Press ESC key to abort!)

I am also having the same issue. I have LG WH14NS40 from 2014 flashed to an unsupported version not supported pre-2015. Device connected on SATA port 1, set to IDE. booted from USB from the forum. Is the firmware ruined because the wrong version was written to the chip?
