BP50NB40 NB52 not reading some UHDs after crossflashing.

Hi all,

I'm having an issue where certain 4K UHD discs are not being recognized by Windows at all, the drive just spins repeatedly and eventually stops, never mounting the disc. Most 4K discs work perfectly fine.

Discs that will NOT mount:
- Mulholland Drive (Criterion Collection)
- The Big Lebowski
- The Holdovers
- The Thing

My setup:
- Drive: LG BP50NB40 SVC:NB52, crossflashed to BP60NB10 1.00-MK via SDFtool Flasher
- MakeMKV: latest beta
- keydb.cfg: updated
- OS: Windows

The discs that fail never show up in the Windows Explorer at all. MakeMKV shows "No disc inserted" after the drive finishes spinning. The discs play fine in a standalone UHD player. I have cleaned the discs and the issue persists.

Any help appreciated. Happy to provide anything else if someone can point me in the right direction. Thanks !

I just crossflashed my WP50NB40 svc NB52 to BP60NB10 1.02-MK earlier this week, and I own Mulholland Drive, The Big Lebowski & The Holdovers. My drive with MakeMKV spun up all of those, plus the just released Alice in Wonderland which bumped my AACS up to 82 (the others are older). I went straight to 1.02-MK because I read reports on Reddit that 1.00-MK didn't work on some discs. Have you considered updating to 1.02-MK? (No crossflashing this time; just flash it over your existing firmware.)

I updated to 1.02-MK and it doesn't seem to have done anything. MakeMKV says this now about my drive:
