I am going insane. I have ripped literal hundreds of movies and shows at this point. I just bought a brand new copy of 4k Terminator and my drive can't even see it. It spins at varying speed. makes a bunch of noise but then nothing, even windows does not register the disk. Works fine in my XBOX if I want to watch it but cannot seem to get it to register it to even try to rip. I googled around and what I am seeing is my drive might be underpowered? Unsure if thats true. I am having trouble with a few other disks to but none that completely refuse to read. I did clean the disk per some suggestioins.

Firmware type: Patched (microcode access re-enabled)

Any help would be appreciated.

As weird as it sounds, I find that sometimes my optical drives behave better after they've been power cycled.

If cleaning the disc doesn't help the next best suggestion is to try a different copy of the disc.

Or, try the same disc in a different optical drive. I have multiple drives and when a disc won't read in one drive it often works in a different drive. To me it seems like drives just don't like the occasional disc.

I have tried, I bought a new drive, but I am having some issues with Flashing it. It is a wp50nb40 and I followed the flash guide but still cannot read any 4k disks.
