Game of Thrones Box Set

"This disk is not compatible" on several of my very thin disks in my new Game of Thrones box set. This is using my Panasonic UHD player to my LG-C5 display. After several tries they do play without errors, cleaning seems to make no difference. I have about 40 UHD disks that I'm blessed to work fine with the Panasonic, not GOT!

I'm half way thru set, ripping theses, using my Asus BW-16D with no errors reported by MKV over same disks.

My question is should I return this set? Anyone else with same issue? Or, is this to be the norm with anything from WB studios?

TIA

This is an infamously bad disc set I have seen customers need to do 3 exchanges piecing together all of them to have a full working set

A pioneer drive would help with this

Thanks Billy

Well, the very next disk was being ripped before Panasonic 450 playback. I could hear the Asus BW-16 making retries on the reading of that disk. So, I pulled the disk and it looked perfect. I decided to wash disk but this time using dish soap, lastime it was just water which helped two disk ago.

This disk now read fine in the Asus so further disk washing will now include soap..maybe with brillo pad :) Maybe factory mold release agent? Plastic case contamination?

16 more disks to go...

Cheers

Three disks later...fatal error! Brillo pads not working...so whole set back in mail. I'll try a used set down the road.
Shame..shame...shame...shame...shame...shame...shame...shame..
