Arcane Season 1 4K to Blu-ray comparison--the blu-ray looks better. (perhaps an issue with converting the DV Profile?)

So I have the Season One Collector's Edition of Arcane Season One, which includes both the 4K discs and the regular blu-ray.
I have Macbook Pro M3 Pro laptop that supports Dolby Vision. I have, on the recommendation of a user on the forum, used the software "DV7 to DV8" to change the Dolby Vision profile, then used Infuse as the media player.
With some of the other blu-ray to 4K tests I have used, I have found that the 4Ks are better, both in terms of detail and richness of colour. But for some reason, the blu-ray just looks better with the Arcane episodes I tested. I don't know what's going on. Strangely enough, there is a richer range of colours, and they are bolder on the blu-ray.
Is it possible there was some information that was lost using DV7 to DV8? (I asked elsewhere on the forum about why the files are smaller when converting the DV profile, and still haven't received an answer about that)
It's just strange, because the HDR seems to be working with the other discs that I've ripped, and used the other app with. (for example, I tried comparing the blu-ray to the 4K for Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio. The 4K is much richer in Dolby Vision.)
