Hello,
Do we have an update on this one?

Could you upload this TGZ dump file into (say) OneDrive or Google Drive please, so that people can try adding it to the public KEYDB.cfg file? I've never know anyone receive "updates" about how UHD disks are added to MakeMKV's private "hashed keys" database.

Please excuse my ignorance but I've been wondering about this for some time; how would one go about adding the decryption key to the KEYDB.cfg file themselves? Or is this some dark art that us mere mortals shouldn't concern ourselves with?

It's not
exactly a Dark Art, just that calculating a disk's keys requires having a working device key and host certificate. And such keys and certificates don't exist publicly for UHD disks, which is why LibreDrive exists and MakeMKV creates TGZ dump files. Much of the work with KEYDB is just harvesting disk information from TGZ dump files so that other people can then calculate the missing pieces.
But if you do happen to have all of the pieces yourself then there's nothing stopping you from creating a new KEYDB entry and then uploading it using "FindVUK synchronize". Have you examined the first post
in this thread, and explored its links?
