Hi
I’m pretty new to this, but what does what you wrote mean?
Does it mean that you have submitted a “key” that the MakeMKV Team needs to add to MakeMKV?
Because I’m trying to rip the 25th Anniversary Limited Steelbook Edition of Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas, but I get an error message saying:
“The volume key is unknown for this disc – video can’t be decrypted.
Failed to open disc.”

Usually when people make a post like that it means they've emailed the dump file MakeMKV has produced to
svq@makemkv.com so a hashed key can be made available. Those posts are even more helpful if they include the name of the dump file they submitted.
The hashed keys section of the
UHD FAQ has more details.
