Yeah, as Mr Penguin said, using SamuriHL's utility is the easiest option. It does have a search function. Just feed it the discID (the SHA-1 of the Unit_Key_RO.inf file on the disc or in the dump) or you can manually download the latest KeyDB, open it in notepad and search for the discID.ttnicky wrote: ↑Tue Oct 07, 2025 11:15 pmIs there a way to search for disks in the database before downloading the file? Is Disc Info a part of your utility, or a separate app? I was doing it the old fashioned way of manually downloading the DB file from FindVUK and moving it into my MakeMKV folder and hoping my new disks worked. That will tell you the status of your disc. Bonus points for validating unvalidated KeyDB entries while you're at it. This can also be done on protected ISO images in lieu of the physical disc to save time and wear and tear. Just mount it with your favorite image mounting software and Disc Info away.
