Have you tried downloading the latest KEYDB.cfg file, copying it into MakeMKV's data directory (i.e. where MakeMKV also writes its TGZ dump files) and restarting MakeMKV?

Thank you so much! That was not something I was not aware of until your reply. I have updated the KEYDB.cfg file now and it seems to have resolved the issue. I'm ripping the first disc successfully now. Tomorrow I'll try the other discs in the set.

Great . But have you still emailed those TGZ dump files to svq@makemkv.com, so that MakeMKV can also add your disks to its own hashed keys database?

Yep, I sure did. I emailed all 7 to Makemkv earlier so they can add the disks to their database.

Only the first one works for me with the latest keydb.cfg file which isn't much help since it's likely the same scan as last year's release. I sent all 7 TGZ files to Mike as well.

Grab the latest public keydb and you should now be able to process the remaining discs in the set

Just grabbed it, but still not working past the first. It is installed correctly because without, it won't even decrypt the first disc.

Do your TGZ dump files have the exact same names as the ones added to KEYDB? If their four-character variant codes differ then they're for different disk variants and so would need separate entries in KEYDB.

I am not able to identify the variant codes unfortunately because I don't see any 4 character codes in the key file.

If you can't upload the disc dump files, could you please post the filenames of your disc dump files? These variants were added to the public keydb earlier today (variant id in bold):

I meant comparing your dumps' file names with those listed earlier in this thread. But if your disks are already included in KEYDB.cfg then I would also expect MakeMKV to be able to decrypt them.

Sorry, it seems they all work except the second one which indeed has a different title from the list posted earlier. The file name is:

MKB20_v82_A_Nightmare_on_Elm_Street_2-_Freddy's_Revenge_7B4E
