Hi, I've used MakeMKV before, but haven't been at it for a few months.

Coming back to it now, and I'm getting the error:
Using LibreDrive mode
Using direct disc access mode
Loaded content hash table, will verify integrity of M2TS files.
Downloading latest HK to ...
Automatic HK downloading is disabled or failed.
Saved AACS dump file as
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Failed to open disc

I've checked, and have enable internet access on
I don't think i'm on geoblock, have tried direct via ISP and VPN

I'm looking at the FindVUK online database for manual sync, but wondering if anyone else has this error and if so, any recommendations?

I have version 1.18.1, and full registered recently as well.

With your VPN, try different exit nodes until you find a location that works.

I've started running into this too. With seemingly innocuous VPN endpoints.

Why are some VPN endpoints being blocked? Why would any be blocked? It's not like and bad actors will stop what their doing because one VPN endpoint was blocked.

If the router at the VPN exit node has geoblocking turned on, it might prevent you from finding the server in Russia hosting the hashed keys.
