Part of the "Star Trek Original Motion Picture 6 Movie Collection", purchased from Uncle Bezos' General Store.
Surprised there wasn't already a key, must be a recent reprint. Key is also not in the FindVUK database.

Could you make this TGZ dump file available please, e.g. by uploading into (say) OneDrive or Google Drive, and then providing a download link? This would allow people to try to add your disk to the public KEYDB database.

And could you also provide this disk's actual AACS/MKB_RO.inf file please, because the copy of this file inside the TGZ dump has almost certainly been truncated to only 56 bytes, making it unusable to anyone except MakeMKV itself.

Sure thing, here you go: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aDPbbH ... sp=sharing

I'll keep this in mind next time I find another disc missing from the database.

Thanks, but I think this disk is already in the public KEYDB.cfg file:

Code: Select all

0xC417FF2ED8D242CE75DA0AAED46EF765641B5801 = STAR_TREK_III_TSFS_UHD (Star Trek III: The Search for Spock) | D | 2021-06-15 | ...
Did you copy the KEYDB.cfg file into the correct directory? It should be put into the same directory where MakeMKV also writes its TGZ dump files.

Yep, not the first time I've used the FindVUK database with MakeMKV. I pulled a fresh copy of it this morning. This looks right to me: https://postimg.cc/qz6JDpQw

EDIT
Well, it seems maybe MakeMKV has gotten pickier about how the file is named? Just lower-casing the extension caused it to pick it up.

I cannot get this disc to even open. the other three in the pack have opened and ripped. the drive is a pioneer bdr-s13u using bdr-213t firmware that I purchased through this site. is there any tricks to get the disc to open? I get scsi errors until I get an internal error operation was canceled. it has been working great on so many other movies and I have been able to rip some after this disc issue popped up too.

Did MakeMKV generate a TGZ dump file for this disk? Because if so, you should email it to svq@makemkv.com. And also upload it into (say) OneDrive or Google Drive please, and then reply with a public download link, as this would allow people to try adding your disk to the public KEYDB.cfg file as well.
