Have you tried downloading the latest KEYDB.cfg file, copying it into MakeMKV's data directory (i.e. where MakeMKV also writes its TGZ dump files) and restarting MakeMKV?

FWIW could you also upload the AACS/MKB_RO.inf file from your physical UHD disk here, please? (It's a large file, so you'll need to ZIP compress it first.) The copy of MKB_RO.inf inside your TGZ dump file has been truncated to only 56 bytes, which makes it unusable to anyone except MakeMKV itself.

You might also find SamuriHL's tool useful :).

Yes, I downloaded the latest before submitting the dump. Even with the latest keysdb, it couldn't decrypt the disc

I have the keysdb.cfg in

Code: Select all

C:\ProgramData\aacs
. There is no data directory in the

Code: Select all

.MakeMKV
directory where it creates the dumps. Do I need to create the directory, and is it just "data"?

MK_RO.inf file attached

Just copy the KEYDB.cfg file into your

Code: Select all

.MakeMKV/
directory.

MakeMKV's data directory is not literally called "data" unless you explicitly configure MakeMKV via its "View/Preferences/General" settings.

AFAICT KEYDB.cfg already contains your disk's key, and so MakeMKV should be able to decrypt it.

Ah, ok. I'll try that. What's weird is that it decrypted the other 2 UHD's in the set. It's the new box set that came out recently with all 3 movies.
