Hope this is the correct process for this sort of thing, I'm new here
You need to email that TGZ dump file to svq@makemkv.com so that The Powers That MakeMKV can add your disk to MakeMKV's "hashed keys" database.SpaceCowboy87 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 26, 2025 4:45 pmHope this is the correct process for this sort of thing, I'm new here
But have you checked the KEYDB file again after providing this TGZ dump file?SpaceCowboy87 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 27, 2025 3:23 pmThanks for the reply, I did update my keydb file first as I saw someone had already submitted regarding dirty harry (but the version was different to mine)
I am just about to as I've noticed it has updated since I posted, thanks again for the help -:)MrPenguin wrote: ↑Sun Apr 27, 2025 4:31 pmBut have you checked the KEYDB file again after providing this TGZ dump file?SpaceCowboy87 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 27, 2025 3:23 pmThanks for the reply, I did update my keydb file first as I saw someone had already submitted regarding dirty harry (but the version was different to mine)
I wasn't aware this existed so will take a look at it this week, I really appreciate pointing it out and for all the effort, cheersSamuriHL wrote: ↑Sun Apr 27, 2025 4:47 pmThey KeyDB is constantly being updated. This is one of the main reasons I created the KeyDB Helper so that there's an easy way to use FindVUK to synchronize the KeyDB and copy it to the MakeMKV data directory automatically with the press of a button. Using the Disc Info button in KeyDB Helper can also let you know for certain if your disc is in there or not and whether it contains information required to work with MakeMKV.
