Dump from The Expendables 3 uncut from the new German 1-4 collection sent.

1,2 and 4 I was able to rip but not part 3. Disc is from February 2025.

Keydb.cfg with last update today without success.

Edit: No, not sent yet. File to big? I've got a mailer deamon: Message size exceeds capabilities of MX responsible for the recipient.

please help. How get I the dump to svq@makemkv.com? The file has about 9-10 MB.
With 7z the size is about 8-9 MB. What is the upper limit?

Put the .tgz file in the cloud somewhere like Google Drive and email in a file sharing link.

Thanks for providing your disc dump file to the forum.

Support for the 6620 variant of The Expendables 3 has been added to the public keydb.

If you haven't previously configured MakeMKV to utilise the public keydb you can follow my instructions here or use SamuriHL's utility for Windows (Link)

Bad luck, it doesn't work.

MakeMKV has (always) connection to the web and the current keydb.cfg is in the directory.

Make sure you restart MakeMKV after updating the keydb. Also you can try using my tool to ensure it's going into the proper location for MakeMKV.

No further comment ...... I've copied the extracted keydb.cfg to the correct data directory without success several times and then run with your tool, which does the same, I think, and it works.

Sorry to just jump in, but I have some good news.

Since I had the same problem as @zittrig I downloaded and installed the keydb LastUpdate: 2025-04-01 17:49:18. Unfortunally this didn't help. I even restarted the system new Ubuntu 24.10.

However I tried again a few moments ago and the log then showed the message 'Downloading latest HK to /home/xxx/.MakeMKV ...' and it works now without any problems so far (still 41 Minutes to go ).

I can therefor only assume that your fix doesn't made it into the keydb (yet).

I can't take any credit for what goes into the keydb. My tool simply downloads it, extracts it, and finds the MakeMKV data directory from the registry and copies it into that directory. That's it.
