LG BP60NB10 Flashed Wrong Firmware

Hey there, accidentally flashed the wrong firmware to the Lg BP60NB10 and now the drive doesn’t accept discs at all. It’s recognized as a drive by the computer and by makemkv but it always says there’s no disc and when trying to flash to the correct firmware it says complete and then nothing happens.

I tried the solution in this forum and it did the whole flash process and said complete for the “right” firmware boot id but nothing happened here either and the firmware didn’t change. When trying to do the “wrong” boot id I was only met with errors: viewtopic.php?t=23023

Any help here would be appreciated!!

The currently flashed firmware (incorrect): BP55EB40 1.03

The one it should be on (correct): BP60NB10 1.02Mk

Use the recovery process of SDFtool flasher.

It has worked many times before. Are you sure you are doing it right? You must follow the reecovery process exactly. Read the titles of the windows that open up. Is your drive a SVC NNB10 or NB12?

1. Select the drive.
2. Select recovery option
3. In popup, select the current (wrong) firmware that is on the drive.
4. Choose the BP60NB10 1.02-MK firmware in the firmware drop down selection box.
5. Click START.

The process takes around 30 seconds to complete.
