This dump looks like it was created using a Verbatim 43888, which means that KEYDB almost certainly won't be able to use it . Would you also happen to have access to a non-Pioneer UHD drive please?

Have you also emailed this dump file to svq@makemkv.com?

As MrPenguin correctly noted dumps produced by Pioneer disc drives are of limited use to the keydb. If anyone else can provide an LG/Asus dump for your disc it might be beneficial.

Sorry but as MrPenguin correctly noted I can't work with dumps produced by Pioneer disc drives. If anyone else can provide me with an LG/Asus dump for your disc I'll be sure to post an update in this thread.

I don't know if I understand correctly, Pioneer drives cannot be used to add new discs that have not yet been discovered? Or, is this only a problem with the keydb method and not with the email svg?
This is very important as I can still return the drive.

I've got another drive ASUS BW-16D1HT with fw 3.10MK (Patched), but it's in a desktop computer that's in another location. I will probably be there after New Year.

Sorry about the confusion.

The MakeMKV team who monitor the SVQ email address can process disc dumps from both Pioneer and LG/Asus drives ('process' in this context means to generate title-specific decryption keys). The MakeMKV team fully supports both drive platforms and there are no limitations or prerequisites regarding some level of existing title support. The downside is that it can take them several days or weeks to support new titles.

Great to hear. Feel free to send the Asus disc dump through whenever you can manage and I’ll see what I can do to help.

I'd recommend keeping the Pioneer drive now that I know you have an alternative option for generating disc dumps.

If the email SVG team makes a hash, can I somehow force Asus to make a dump?

Yes. You'd need to move your _private_data.tar temporarily to a safe location, disable MakeMKV's Internet access using its "Preferences" menu and then restart MakeMKV.

Ok. Unfortunately, I'm afraid it will go faster than via email... Still nothing.

I've been trying to grab the unit keys (I can't do anything about finding a VUK for this one) and still nothing. But in a few days if I have any success the unit key will be in the keydb. Won't directly help MakeMKV but when that happens you could use something like XReveal in combination with MakeMKV. I'll keep checking daily to see if I can find the unit key and then push it when I find it.

Looks like someone added this to the latest keydb. You might want to give that a shot. I was never able to get the unit keys but it no longer matters.
