Which version/release is this for? I bought this movie on 4K blu-ray years ago and was already able to rip it with MakeMKV.

It isn't uncommon for new pressings of the same title/release to need a new hashed key. High profile releases often need several different hashed keys in their initial run of discs.

edit: never mind, the latest keydb.cfg file worked, but I had to close *all* instances of MakeMKV to get it to recognize it, not just the one I was using.
I just submitted a dump with the same name. Not sure why it's not working but hopefully the new dump will help! I tried putting the latest KEYDB.cfg file in the MakeMKV data folder also and that didn't help.
MakeMKV v1.18.1 darwin(arm64-release) started
Optical drive "BD-RE PIONEER BD-RW BDR-UD04 1.14 DBDL132872WLd" opened in OS access mode.
Using LibreDrive mode (v01.0 id=489CDFD6D392)
Backing up disc into folder "/Users/blah/Movies/backup/2001_ A Space Odyssey"
Saved AACS dump file as /Users/blah/Library/MakeMKV/MKB20_v66_2001_A_Space_Odyssey_F033.tgz
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted

It does work actually, turns out I needed to close all instances of MakeMKV to get it to load the file, not just the one I was using to rip the disk. Thanks though!
