There are only two candidates:

Code: Select all

0xC5231FC993A794DD70B60DA18CED34AA0BE018BC = Jaws3_UPK1 (Jaws 3) | D | 2024-05-13
and:

Code: Select all

0x765CE2EA753B62FE134E53654D05C7F349CF5826 = JawsTheRevenge_UPK1 (Jaws: The Revenge) | D | 2024-05-15

Thank you very much. But since I don't know how to update the KeyDB under MacOS, this doesn't help me. What a pity.

The instructions on MacOS are the same as on Windows and Linux: copy the file into MakeMKV's data directory and restart MakeMKV. The only caveat with both MacOS and Linux is that their file systems are case-sensitive, and so you need to ensure that the file is literally KEYDB.cfg and not keydb.cfg.

:D Thanks a lot. I'll try it out and report back.

KEYDB.cfg created with data and placed in MakeMKV Data folder. However, I still get the message that the disc cannot be decrypted.

Sometimes restarting the system can help. :lol:

Jaws 3 worked, Jaws 4 didn't - for whatever reason.

What are the full names of your "Jaws 3" and "Jaws 4" dump files please? (Including their 4-character tags.)

I can only assume that your "Jaws 4" disk differs from polskasubie's:

Both codes/keys are also present in the keydb.cfg. But only Jaws 3 was successfully recognized. He can't open Jaws 4.
The names of the disks also match the names in the KeyDB. It's all true. One disc still won't open.
