Has anyone been able to decrypt this movie and AACS2.0/C v77 encryption yet? I'm using 1.17.7 and get this error: "The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Failed to open disc"
My AACS dump file saves as MKB20_v77_The_Boy_and_the_Heron_2A12.tgz as well.

I feel bad. I didn't think to search if someone else has submitted the dump file already. Now I know for the future. I was reading a post about what to do when a volume key is unknown for a disc and I didn't think to scroll down to the added message at the bottom regarding different version numbers.
I also submitted vers 2A12.

My hash is different and not in the keydb.cfg, should I submit my MKB20_v77_The_Boy_and_the_Heron_2A12.tgz?

There's no harm in emailing your dump file to svq@makemkv.com again, even if someone else has already sent it.

The newest keydb.cfg has the hash for the file but it still isn't working for me. Any idea whats going on? keydb is in the right place but it still isn't working.

Two things...make SURE it's in the right place by going into settings and looking for the MakeMKV data directory setting. Second, rename it to KEYDB.cfg. Notice the case. It seems to matter, even on Windows.
(P.S. Amazon can suck it. My The Boy and the Heron and Twister steelbooks are "delayed" until sometime in August....grrrrr)

Made no difference. It seems like some other keys are missing or its mismatched in the file somehow.
