QUESTION: What devices are capable of ripping 4K HDR Blu-rays into an MKV format?
For example, I use an LG external Blu-ray device that connects to my Windows 10 laptop via USB in order to rip the 1080p Blu-rays and DVDs. But, that LG device is not compatible with 4K UHD Blu-ray discs.
Another example is the HD-DVD external device that was compatible with the Xbox 360. That device could be connected to a Windows 10 laptop via USB in order to rip the HD-DVD discs to MKV format.
I simply don't see similar types of external 4K UHD devices that connect to a Windows 10 PC via USB.
I have also heard the Xbox Series X itself is capable of ripping 4K UHD Blu-rays via a USB connection to a Windows 10 laptop. Is this true? If so, how is that done?
