To anyone getting the Automatic HK downloading disabled or failed... P

I recently rebuilt my PC, reinstalled windows and just got some new discs and was getting the Automatic HK downloading disabled or failed message despite never having gotten it before. I tried everything I could think of.. DMZd my PC, disabled my firewalls after white listing all of the makemkv exes. What eventually worked was deleting the _private_data.tar file in the users\user\.makemkv folder. After that I was able to download keys again and everything seems to be working.
