Saving Private Ryan DV flicker issue

My makemkv copy of Saving Private Ryan flickers while playing Dolby Vision
If I deactivate DV and play as HDR10 it doesn't flicker
I haven't seen any other titles do this, and digital copies from Vudu, etc. Don't exhibit this issue
I recall threads from before where users experienced this issue and it had something to do with the MEL / FEL files?
Can anyone provide thoughts or detyon a work around?
