Hello. I downloaded MakeMKV Beta. Wanted to backup Jurassic World - Dominion. Unfortunately I always get this message.

The volume key for the DVD/Blu-ray is unknown - the video cannot be decrypted
Backup failed. Could it be the drive?
I have the Pioneer BD-RW BDR-UD04 1.11.

No, it's reporting that the key for the disk was not in MakeMKV's database as you have it. This often happens with very new disks.

Are you getting any warning messages from MakeMKV about not being able to contact the server during start-up? Many internet providers have been known to block access to hosts in Russia, where MakeMKV is based.
