Misery UHD DV problem

Post by Alldu »

I just ripped the Misery DV UHD with the LG BP50NB40 and somehow the DV isn't working. I play .m2ts files via Sony X700, and never had a problem with playing ripped double-layerd DV files. But this one, even though it has tha DV layer intact, won't trigger the DV on my TV - just plays it in HDR10.

Funny thing is, when I scan the ripped disc with BDInfo, it shows the DV layer:

Code: Select all

Codec                   Bitrate             Description
-----                   -------             -----------
MPEG-H HEVC Video       0 kbps              2160p / 23.976 fps / 16:9 / Main 10 @ Level 5.1 @ High / 10 bits / HDR10 / BT.2020
* MPEG-H HEVC Video     0 kbps              1080p / 23.976 fps / 16:9 / Main 10 @ Level 5.1 @ High / 10 bits / Dolby Vision / BT.2020
But when I check the main .m2ts file with MediaInfo, it shows 2 HDR10 layers, and not one HDR10 and the onther one the DV layer - like it's with my other DV .m2ts files:

Does anybody know what the problem is, and how do I fix it?
