Been using DVD Fab to backup 4k UHD movies as BDMV onto physical media Panasonic BD-r. Copies stutter the first 4 minutes on oppo 203 and 205. Tried Makemkv and same issue. If I make the backup and put onto thumb drive into Oppo usb input on front of player, no stuttering. The stuttering is only when copied onto physical media. Backups of standard blu ray is no issue using same procedure. It's only 4k backups.

discs bad thats why we move the stuff off of then to hdds, hdds are cheaper than discs in the long run with time savings and convivence
a 20 pack of 100GB blurays is $80 that 2 TB of usuable storage but there is going to be alot of waste as not every movie takes up the full 100gb
a 2 TB nas grade HDD is $60 and you get to use all the space its way faster than a disc and more...
i would not recommend a 2tb hdd any more though go for the 16-20TB range

Yep, don't use discs. Simply not worth it. HDD storage is the way to go.
