Brand new drive brand new disk. Could it be something else im doing? So i pulled out my old dell workstation with a lg drive that worked for makemkv and i put this disk in it and it ripped it after 2 hours. But now plex can't see the movie and i can't find a mkv file in the folder at all. The folder size is 62gb's and makemkv said finished with no errors on this pc. Movie is bumblebee. Wonder what that could mean.

Did you do a folder backup or create a MKV file? If you did a folder backup, there is no mkv file as you backed up the entire disc to a folder structure, just like what is on the disc.

Generally, with those sort of errors, the first thing you should do is clean the disc! It doesn't matter if the disc is brand new and spotless.

When I go to make a mkv the errors come into play.
The one I got to work was a backup.
