Halloween Ends (2022)

I'm trying to rip this title but my drive just spins and spins. My computer won't even read the disc to get a dump file. I've tried four different computers, mac and PC (but still only have the one external drive). Has anyone had success with this title?

Just tested it out and MakeMKV just opened it up for me.
NOTE: My copy of the disc is a US pressing from the Best Buy steelbook, in case you're wondering.

the German versions can be successfully saved with makemkv

Well, I can't confirm that. The discs simply stops at about 50% and nothing happens.

Having issues with this disc as well, mine is from the 4K Halloween Trilogy set.
Edit: after restarting my computer twice, it seems like it was able to get the movie and features fine. Weird

Version 1.17.3 is out and the German edition of the UHD still cannot be read. Too bad.

I can only say that my German rental versions could be copied to the hard drive without errors
the copy also runs correctly on the Dune Player

Issue with this UHD title in Australia as well.
Using LibreDrive mode (v01.0 id=489CDFD6D392)
Using direct disc access mode
Loaded content hash table, will verify integrity of M2TS files.
Saved AACS dump file as MKB20_v77_Halloween_Ends_D631.tgz
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted
Failed to open disc

Stopping in the middle usually points to a bad or dirty disc or drive

The disc stops at about 40%. But the disc is absolutely clean and the drive only has these problems with this disc.

Clean it anyway with a damp lint free microfiber cloth and dry with another.
After that exchange the disc if it still don't work
