In 2019, I bought myself an LG WH16NS40. I flashed it so it could read UHD Discs and everything's been working fine, until now. Some discs aren't reading now, some aren't ripping fully.

For the one's that aren't reading entirely, both were read fine when I first bought them in 2020/2021. Now, I cannot read them. I bought another copy of both movies, and they both won't read either. They are all clean (tried cleaning anyways, didn't fix it). They are Rocketman and Hellboy Animated - Sword of Storms & Blood & Iron.

I tried to rip Jerry Maguire, my drive can read it but it fails halfway.

Is there a fix for this or is my drive starting to die? If so, what drive should I buy?

How does it "fail half way"?

There are sometimes issues with not having enough power for "full speed" that can come up when longer titles have been read "half way". But the logs would show that. When those happen, you have to make sure the drive has full power available to it.
