Keeping the Menus

Post by kayli10 »

I'm re-learning how to rip. I have a bunch of UHDs, I have a pioneer bdr-xd07uhd for ripping. I have ripped (with menus) transformers 1 & 2, these 2 gave me an option for a bdmv(?) folder. the 3rd is giving the option for 2 video files. I'm fine with this as long as it keeps the Menus & atmos files. I'm using makemkv to play over a zidoo z9x. Any zidoo users out there?

The only way to preserve menus is to use the backup option. It is the only way to preserve them, as it copies EVERYTHING on the disk.

The other option (default for most people) only selects video over a certain length, and does not preserver menus.

UHD BDMV issue

Post by solo.spirit88 »

I am copying the whole disc through MakeMKV which creates the BDMV folder. When I play it through Zidoo UDH3000 the screen goes blank and after few minutes it says can't play even I tried to play it directly play instead of BD.
If I just copy it as m2ts file then it plays good.

What is the issue?

Thanks

Have you maybe figured it out with MakeMKV backup option and your UHD 3000?
