Drive (2011) - Cannot Be Decrypted

Post by stuckinkodiagain »

The newly-released 4K UHD of "Drive" (2011) - published by Second Sight - cannot be decrypted in the latest version of MakeMKV.

I've submitted a dump file to svq@makemkv.com

I've got this on order, I live in the states so I'm importing it.

I thought MakeMKV uses LibreDrive to ignore the encryption?

LibreDrive is used to ignore revocation lists and firmware disc reading limitations. There is no way to ignore encryption if you want a video file, so each UHD disc needs to be decrypted to rip to an MKV.

Just tried to rip:

Saved AACS dump file as .MakeMKV/MKB20_v76_DRIVE_-_4K_UHD_0E84.tgz
The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted

Emailed the file.
