*translated with Google(I am From Germany)*

Hello, I have a problem and I've probably already copied over 100 (including 4K) Blu-Rays and it always worked without any problems. And now I've bought the 4K Saw Blu-Ray and I get the following message: (PS: This is the second one, I've already sent the first one back)

Blu-ray.com says the Saw (2004) UHD came out in May, 2021 (in the US at least). Unfortunately, 'Saw' is too short of a search term for this forum. However, looking back in the May 2021 time frame, I found the Saw thread on this forum. It is unhelpfully a single post. You and others were able to decrypt it and I didn't see any other threads about it in the UHD section.

I know you tried replacing the disc. Do you have a different optical drive you could try?

No one else has reported any errors which means either you're the first to run into a problem or other people have not been having any issues. Since the disc came out in May, 2021, I would think others would have reported this problem by now. It seems more likely that your drive might be having difficulty.

Sorry I didn't have a chance to reply earlier.
Yes, I have a different version because, as I said, I come from Germany. Namely this one:
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Saw-4K-Blu-ray/300955/
I've already tried to make a backup of the Blu-Ray, which worked (although it took 5 hours).
The unencrypted m2ts file can also be played and is error-free, except that there are 2 video tracks and the audio tracks have no language information. When I import the backup into MakeMKV, the same error occurs!
I don't really know what to do, especially because this is the 2nd time and it has the exact same error.
Oddly enough, there are no problems in the Blu-Ray player either.

That's an interesting problem and I imagine frustrating for you. It seems that there's something weird about how that version of Saw is authored. I wonder if tsMuxeR would work on it? I don't have a lot of experience with it, but from what I understand, tsmuxer should be able to remux the .m2ts files from your decrypted backup into a .mkv file.

Perhaps MakeMKV's author, Mike, will happen across this thread.

Unfortunately, I got Corona and I wasn't really feeling well, but now it's much better.
Anyway, I've downloaded tsMuxeR and read in the m2ts file, but the way it looks, that's probably not the solution.

I know it sounds pedantic, but try cleaning the disc with a few drops of dish detergent and warm water, cleaning with your fingers from the inside hub to the outer edge of the disc. Make a few passes around the disc, then wipe dry with a clean microfiber cloth, again from the center outward to the edge.

UHD drives/disks are extremely sensitive to anything on the surface of the disc and nearly always have a film from the manufacturing process on them. If that doesn't work, you likely have a disc with an authoring error and it cannot be properly read. In that case, you're hopefully still in your return window and can exchange it for a new disc.

I've seen a number of slow/long-running UHD rips fixed by a simple cleaning.
