Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy

Post by Procat »

Has anyone been able to copy this title. Disc is from Target. After what seems like ‘chewing’ the disc sometime loads but for the most part fails. If it does load it fails on what would appear to be the 2nd layer. Using both lg16ns40 flashed to both 1.00 and 1.02. Also tried BU40NS flashed to 1.00
Possibly manufacturing error?

One of the first things I try. I usually use eye glass wipes, will try some other ways I found on google.
Thank you for the reply though.

I ran into this same problem with two separate copies of this movie. It seems like there's either a new form of copy protection or an incompatibility with MakeMKV.

I also had a ton of trouble ripping the 4K version of the movie with my copy purchased from Kino Lorber. I had given up until I accidentally bought a second copy (long story) and my new copy worked! This is how the contents of the discs turned out for me: https://thediscdb.com/movie/tinker-tail ... -lorber-4k
