I just got the UHD 4K Criterion disk, however it doesn't seem to be recognized/working with MakeMKV.

Is there something I'm missing to make it work?

Depends on what errors you have showing in the display window.

This is the error(s) I'm getting - https://i.ibb.co/TvC7t0q/ckerror.png

Sometimes MakeMKV is able to make it further along and capture half the movie before it crashes, but it never is able to finish.

The most frequent cause of those errors are navigation problems on the disk, tied back to read errors. If the drive does not report it as a read error, the data returned is inconsistent.

Have you tried cleaning the disk?

I was able to get this ripped yesterday and this is how all the discs mapped out for me (including bonus features and chapter names): https://thediscdb.com/movie/citizen-kan ... iterion-4k

Fantastic, the disc washing did help!

And yes, that is exactly the same mapping I got. Thank you for sharing!

The original 4K disc of Citizen Kane was replaced due to a manufacturing error (https://www.criterion.com/current/posts ... 1-replaced), and subsequently there is a different version floating around. I believe the disc I am in possession of is the rerelease version, and its cert does not appear to be logged yet. Just an FYI...

Only the original Blu-ray was in need of replacement. The 4K is unaffected. It must just be a different variant that hasn't been reported yet.
