How to tell if UHD backup is Dolby Vision

I have some 4K UHD backup images (decrypted). How can I tell if the HDR is Dolby Vision? For example, this one says its Dolby Vision and this is what I see in MediaInfo on the biggest stream file. I was maybe expecting to see Dolby Vision on the "HDR format" line.

Are you sure that file has DV? How old is your MediaInfo version? What version of MakeMKV did you use to create the MKV?

It should look more like this:

If you mean m2ts file, for DV, there should be a secondary 1080p track within the main m2ts file. This is the DV layer.

If you mean images as in ISO's or UHD-BD folder structure, the m2ts and the playlists that refer to it will show 2 videostreams in MediaInfo.
Where the big 3840x2160 is the baselayer.
And the second video is 1920x1080 enhancement layer, being MEL or FEL.

Also when importing a UHDBD or mkv containing Dolby Vision, MakeMKV will tell you.

Oh, I see! Yes, there's a 1080p stream of video in the same m2ts. Thank you both.

MartyMcNuts, what is your image from? I'm not seeing Dolby Vision in MediaInfo which is windows version 21.09. This is a backup folder structure created from MakeMKV 1.16.5 and I was looking at a single m2ts file.

It is from the DV MKV file created using MakeMKV.

I've ripped some UHDs (backup, not to mkv), and I notice that media info doesn't mention Dolby Vision in the m2ts file:

Figured that - but there's no metadata that mentions Dolby Vision - so how can a player know?
