Hello! I've been using MakeMKV for a few years now, and this is the first time I have encountered this issue.

For the past few days, I've been trying to rip the 4K HDR edition of Lord of the Rings Return of the King (Disc 2) to no avail. I get the following error messages:

• Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:INVALID FIELD IN CDB' occurred while reading 'BD-RE HL-DT-ST BD-RE WH16NS60 1.02' at offset '33366016000'
• Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:INVALID FIELD IN CDB' occurred while reading 'BD-RE HL-DT-ST BD-RE WH16NS60 1.02' at offset '33366079488'
• Error 'Scsi error - ILLEGAL REQUEST:INVALID FIELD IN CDB' occurred while reading 'BD-RE HL-DT-ST BD-RE WH16NS60 1.02' at offset '655360'
• Error 'OS error - The specified request is not a valid operation for the target device' occurred while reading '\Device\CdRom0' at offset '4457564160'

The disc is brand new, the drive (LG WH16NS60, firmware version 1.02) ripped the other 8 discs flawlessly, and MakeMKV is running the latest version. Is my drive dying, or is the disc itself to blame?

Clean the disc
get new disc
Clean drive
Get BU40N

The BU40N has solved alot of other people's problems wit this LOTR set
