Something that amazes me about this whole issue with The Sting is this:
Universal released Animal House in 4K UHD at the same time and it worked without a hitch.
So go figure.

Has anyone gotten The Sting 4K to actually load in makemkv yet?

For what it's worth, my dump email finally bounced back.
I hope everything is alright with Mike and this whole server thing gets resolved soon.

FYI: this is another difficult to read disc (at least for me). Took me three cleanings and seven tries with two drives to do a full backup without decryption to a hard drive. Disc was from a 4K steel book bought from Target.
Waiting patiently to decrypt the files.

Dec 29, 2022 - I just got The Sting 4k uhd movie and fired up makemkv (I did buy this program) and it can't decrypt the video, make a dump file and failed to open disc. Any suggestions fellas? Replies should be on a basic level - turn on the PC. Plug it in stupid.... I have already sent this movie back to the vendor as unplayable. Yes it does play in a 4k TV player.
Thanks.
