50% success rate

Hi. I've been having about a 50% success rate ripping 4k discs. A lot of times I have to restart the computer or figure out the correct sequence of loading and launching the program just to get the disc to read. My drive is the lg bu40n. Is this typical as of now with 4k discs or is there a more reliable drive? Thank you.

There is a bit of a learning curve when adding 4K discs to the mix and I'm sorry you're having trouble. Cleaning each disc with LCD screen cleaner and a microfiber cloth should greatly increase your success stats there.
