USA Amazon, MakeMKV can't open any of the 4 movies, Rear Window, Vertigo, Psycho and The Birds. All 4 dumps sent.

Ditto here, bought from BB. Dumps also sent.

I submitted mine Monday afternoon and Tuesday evening's HK update decrypted them.
Delete your "Private_data.tar" file from your .makemkv directory and try again. Otherwise you probably have a different version to me.
The Goonies from last week still not added though, maybe Mike is busy or maybe it is a problematic disc.

I was able to rip Rear Window with no problem, but Psycho, Vertigo, and The Birds failed to open.

Maybe you need to submit the dumps of the ones that don't work so svq@makemkv.com

Tried again. No dump created. The Birds failed to open. Vertigo opened and Make MKV was able to read all the titles, but it didn't rip. In neither case was a dump created. I'm thinking about returning the set.

Have you tried cleaning the disc with a sponge warm water and detergent and or cross flashing the firmware to LG WH16NS60 1.02 ? That got my Asus drive to read some titles that were being stubborn.

I’m too afraid to change anything with the firmware as I purchased this drive from a third party seller (off this forum) and updating the firmware would likely lead to it not being able to read 4k at all.

I will try the sponge but these are brand new discs. The packaging on this set does suck though.

Cleaning the disc didn't work. Vertigo stopped at the exact same spot. I'm starting to wonder if I was sold damaged discs as it doesn't make sense that Rear Window would rip fine, but then Vertigo would not.

I also had to return the set due to a bad Vertigo disc. Replacement set had a good Vertigo disc in it. I was afraid to check the others though.
