Actual error messages from the log window (especially if you have debug logging turned on) will help determine what the issue is.

Mine is failing as well. Have a LG WH14NS40 and ripped a few dozen movies, tried in anoth LG drive as well (I have 2 in the system.) Keeps getting Uncorrectable errors. May have a bad disc will try replacing it.
