Today was the first time I tried again since Saturday and I was able to successfully rip the disc this time.

This was released in Australia yesterday. I bought it today and it decrypted fine.

Yes it does, after it finishes spinning up, it shows the AACS version and MKB version. I don't have a screen shot handy. But indeed it does.
