Yes Mary is mis-spelled. Does that name come from the disc itself? Does the plain text part matter at all?

Yes. The disc titles/names come from whatever the studio/authoring company wants to name the disc most of the time.

And as a reminder, starting several versions ago, key updates are automatic as long as you let the app connect to MakeMKV servers. However, Mike will now and then still update the manual hash key file for whatever reason he deems necessary.
