Thought I'd add to help people keep htpc alive. USING BW-16D1HT ROM FIRMWARE 3.0 When I get it I'll send Mike the dump files to help. Update: The list below will be used as this article is updated and I will send dump files to mike as I buy these movies. Thank you mike for figuring this out.

Another Canuck! We should sync up our collections to avoid doubling up. I don't have anywhere near 50 at this point, but I'll PM you a list later tonight or tomorrow. I've noticed a few discs that seem to have different AACS keys than the one provided in the previous dumps. It seems to hit the collections more frequently than individual releases (all three Mummy films for instance...don't judge, I know they're not good).

Still wainting for drive to be delivered. Curious if hash keys are going to be different based on region.... Either way doing with asus drive or capture ill get them done.

Drive-wise, I bought the external BE16NU50 drive from Newegg.ca. It arrived with the good 1.01 firmware, and hasn't had any issues decrypting most discs. The only exception so far are the Mummy films, as well as a couple where the AACS key is unknown (unsurprisingly).

You will have to wait for Mike to support them via hashed keyfile. (of course, if you already have provided good dumps to him).

Based on the titles posted earlier, I'll prioritize titles that haven't been listed yet:

Blade Runner 2049 (Currently ripping with the hashed key file from the 18th)

Looks like the 1-18 hash was made in a hurry. Titles added, but not in alphabetical order.

Possibly new titles are added to the top so we can easily see what's added? Not sure, haven't been checking carefully. Previous new files have had titles added at top as well. Also, note that all mixed case titles come after all of the all-uppercase titles.

I mean, MakeMKV only creates dumps in the first place if a disc is currently unsupported afaik so I'm pretty sure there's no risk of duplicate keys appearing in the key list.

There is no risk of duplicates being added to the list. If Mike get two dumps that are exactly the same, he'd just skip one of them.

And yes, on the user side, if a disc isn't supported, you won't be able to open it, and MakeMKV will make a dump.

There's not much point in coordinating making dumps. It seems to have been determined that having a movie where the title matches the current key list - even having a movie from the same region as a disc on the list (Canada for example) - doesn't mean that your particular disc is going to match that key. Sometimes even within a region, there are multiple volume keys for a disc/movie.

I was able to test most of the ones from my list, I only had 2 that couldn't be decrypted, Batman and Harley Quinn and Dredd. Oddly enough, Dredd is in the list of keys, but I couldn't decrypt it at all.

I forwarded the log files and hopefully it will help move things along.

There are multiple disc versions (region, etc) per movie and multiple keys per disc version. That's why you see some movies in the list multiple times. That's why even though Dredd is in the list, your copy didn't work.

In this case the log file is irrelevant - it's the AACS dump (which MakeMKV will report and tell you where the file was dumped) that is required, to be sent to svq@makemkv.com.
