I can't wait to get my copy of this one.
Re: Dump Submitted - A Fist of Legend 4K
There are some movies I have to watch, even before ripping them. This is one of those.
Re: Dump Submitted - A Fist of Legend 4K
Hi, sorry for my ignorance.
I've been trying to rip this UHD disk for days and it always gives me an error. And I just found this forum looking for some info. So, is it normal not to be able right now to rip this disc or it's damaged?
Thank you by advance.

"an error"? What error? There are lots of possible errors, with different possible solutions.

Thanks for answering.
This was the error log:

002023:0000 Encountered 6 errors of type 'Read Error' - see http://www.makemkv.com/errors/read/
error=0x06031105 count=6 name=Scsi error - MEDIUM ERROR:L-EC UNCORRECTABLE ERROR
Encountered 2 unclassified errors
error=0x40000005 count=2 name=Posix error - Input/output error
005004:0080 0 titles saved, 1 failed
005037:0204 Copy complete. 0 titles saved, 1 failed.
I have cleaned the disk several times even though it apparently ok.
Re: Dump Submitted - A Fist of Legend 4K
It apparently is NOT ok. Those are read errors. Either the disc is bad or your drive is having issues reading it.

"The ONLY reason for this error is inability of the drive to read the data from the disc. This is caused by a damaged disc, failing drive, or both. The error comes from the drive before MakeMKV has an opportunity to look at the data. Nothing else can cause this error - no protection, no software issue - only physical disc or drive damage."
Having cleaned the disc already, have you tried a different drive? A defective disc is not beyond the realm of possibility.
Re: Dump Submitted - A Fist of Legend 4K
Suddenly it worked after several days trying it and without doing anything new . I just don’t know what happened.
The funny thing is I have already ordered a replacement disc so I will test that one too in a couple of days and see how it’s going. Thank you so much !
