has a hard time reading midway uhd

i have the lg WH16NS60 drive with fw 1.02 when i go to read the midway uhd it takes 20 minutes to read it so i can rip it in the next section. is this normal? because all my other uhd movies read right away..

No not normal but almost normal for an LG or Asus to do weird things on hard to read discs UHD pioneers don't do weird stuff

This is the first time I ran across a disc that it had a hardine reading though and I've dine a lot of uhd disc's. The lg drive is the only drive I could find in my proce range at the time and easier to learn than others of what drive did uhd etc.
