Converting 4K to MKV = same quality

Hi,

I've ripped much of my 4k collection as ISO using other applications. I then use MakeMKV to convert the file to an mkv file on to my USB stick and take it to a friend's to play on his Sony UBP-x800.

With the mkv file still play the file as if were the original CD with Dolby Atmos and HDR etc?

yes but depends on the player if it will play unofficial rips
